Well, it’s been a long and difficult week for many so I wanted to share with you one of my favorite practices for soothing the nervous system and quietening the mind.

Bhramari Pranayama (Bee Breathe) Practice


  • Helps interrupt ruminating thoughts and quiet the mind.

  • Lengthens the exhale to promote calming of the nervous system.

  • Dissipates tension in the body.

  • Helps to settle anger and anxiety.

  • Accessible beginner level practice.

Bhramari should not be practiced by pregnant women. It is also contraindicated for individuals with extremely high blood pressure, epilepsy, chest pain, or an active ear infection.
